I had the first of these in the same edition in my house growing up, and at some point many years ago bought the matching one of The Princess and Curdie at Till's in Edinburgh.

I weirdly didn't notice the spelling - I spell it the 'qu' way too, but think I focussed on the sound because that's what you asked for (I am now looking askance at the inside of my brain).
