An ear-full of ten or more Cedar Waxwings descended on a copse of trees in front of our house this morning. Yes, a group of them is actually called an 'ear-full', perhaps because their call is a distinctive high-pitched zip. #birds #birding #wildlifephotography #parrysound #canada

Great photography.
A noisy Pine Warbler. I can hear them singing all day but they're usually so far up in the canopy of the big pine trees it's hard to get a good shot. This one came down to eye level, but only for a moment. #birds #birding #naturephotography #wildlifephotography #canada #parrysound

At this juncture I’d like to point out:
* we’re on the brink of a golden age of medical healing
* there’s enough money in the world to solve every problem in the world
* a united approach could stop the climate crisis
But a small group of sociopaths seeking personal power are going to throw it away.

We got some significant freezing rain in Ontario yesterday. Kingston is still covered and we lost half of my lovely honey locust. Other areas were hit much harder though and may continue for a while yet. #ontariostorm #outlikealion #frozenwaterisheavy

Lovely sunny day. Just chilling watching the birds eat. Peace. No crazy world here

If you could see that tail vibrate you will know she really really wants to get that squirrel. But it’s too cold🥶
