Consider that when we see or when we show students a few work samples or ideas, what we end up doing to synthesizing that info...creating a combination of all of those ideas. The AI is doing that...who does it belong to then? Currently, USA copyright laws, only considers human to hold copyrights.

True. But I think the real issue is payment and credit. It is hard to give a person, much less an AI generator or company, payment when we have looked and 100 items and created something new out of it. A lot of ethical issues.

Depending on the AI tool it could tell you, in a list form, the visuals, but not generate them. You would need a image generator for that...let me try to use #DALL-e

Harder to figure out. Legal battles going on about copyright. Generally these images however are a compilation, not specific artists' work.

Prompt: I want you to generate a growing pattern. Use Pattern Blocks. Show the first 3 iterations. I need to figure out the 20th iteration. I need to figure out a mathematical equation that I could use to help me predict any iteration. List the iterations in a table. Do not tell me how to solve.

You always want to check AI info. General understanding is that about 80% is accurate.

Prompt: I want to generate a pattern. Use Pattern Blocks. The pattern should follow an ABCABCA sequence. Show me the first 10 iterations and I will have to figure out the 100th iterations. Don’t tell me how to find to 100th iterations. I have to tell you how to find the 100th iterations.
