I think it's less that trans women "weren't socialized as men" as there's no such thing as being socialized as men/women. People are treated how they're treated and they react in an individual way, and it changes throughout their lives

Popping in to say this is a good ex. of there not being any universal trans experience (or any experience, really). To the eggs: if you were told you were a boy and did a good job being a boy and didn't have any examples like these because you didn't know to question it, you can still be trans!
