Gosh! I've happily ridden the CTA (mostly the L) for almost 30 years, and never thought about this. With a disability, I need to live nearby, and for 20 years had the tracks going right by my building. The sound was so comforting. Also glad to hear it coming so I can get my body ready to board.

Oof, I'm sorry. (Not for the walk, for the temps). It's unseasonably warm here in Chicago too, but the wind chill is in the 20's, and I had a beautiful, brisk walk by the lake.
