Make the goal something you think you can handle even if it's something like 1 minute a week.

I struggle with writng on an actual schedule, but I found 4theWords or WritersBlock where you try to write a certain amount in a specific timeframe helped a ton. But everyone's process is different.

You could also dedicate time (like two hours a week) to this and work on something else at the same time.

Going back and forth might get you the momentum while allowing you to branch out.

Do you know what is causing the story issue? (A plothole? Killed a character you like? Or just the pacing?)

Take a break from the project and start a new one.

You'll be a stronger writer when you come back to it later.

Maybe set a date when you go back to it so it doesn't get forgotten?
