I'm so happy for you. I am also on a GLP-1 for BED. It's changed my life. I approach food so differently. It used to be my greatest enemy and my best friend. Now, food is fuel to keep me going. I'm at peace with food for the first time in my life. All the best to you!

Good idea! Last year, I did chicken parm and ricotta and spinach stuffed shells for Christmas dinner. My son-in-law made homemade garlic knots and my daughter made a big salad. We're doing the same this year.

Never, it’s always been at an event venue of some sort. Not that I actually attended any of my reunions, but I do get invited!

$1030 is a low amount for a family of four in my area (DC Metro). That has to be just buying the basic necessities without a lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and lean, healthy proteins. I know with it just being my husband and I we spend nearly that and I cook everything from scratch.

It was very painful to the savings account! The hot water heater repair guy said that most builder's grade, basic appliances have a 7 year life span. Our other appliances are still hanging in there!

I get it! The 7th year we were in our home, our hot water heater, HVAC system, and garbage disposal all died in the same week. That was an expensive week!

I haven't shopped Target since the DEI thing. I used to shop there almost weekly before that. I don't miss it at all and I've saved some money and the hassle of being in their store.
