Not a fan of social media but this space seems different. Into poetry, books, comedy, wandering, playing Irish and Celtic music, doing weird chants in the woods with friends, and the evolution of chiropractic.
Good morning.

I hear a lot about liminal space
lately. It seems a buzzword
like the word
buzzword and

that’s sad
liminal is such
a luscious word.

It shines, doesn’t it?
Shimmers
luminous like

Charo’s dress on Laugh In.

Charo as of this writing
does not yet
inhabit
liminal space

or does she?
Do we all?

pt. 2

She heard that this shows
we have time to drill
to chew on plastic straws
and wonder if its real trouble

In May this will be a memory
young green growth
blush mountain sides
thousands of Stink bugs
shoveled from basements

Where would the world be without us?

When Mighty Rivers Freeze, pt. 1

It seems so obvious

This winter ain’t messin around

Canada geese huddle en mass
feathers cling on ice floes around
twenty feet from Westchester shores
East Palisade cliffs stripped bare for
Artic fronts to slap and stare

Where’s the warming?

What if I’ve been wrong all this time?
What if we are not evolving?
What if we are devolving?

breaking down
breaking apart
crumbling
returning

What if all this playing with elements and ideas leads
back to soil and stars
What if the roots and rocks
feed the wind that rises
with our songs?

Destiny the Great Caretaker, by Eric Diehl. Mural in Conwell Coffee Hall. I could study this all day.
