Okay guys, quick question: in your opinion, when does dark romance become too dark or borderline unhinged? I’m working on a manuscript for a friend that definitely crosses the line into abuse territory. Just curious, do you have a personal limit for what’s “too far” in dark romance?

I just started working on a new manuscript, and as an editor for a few years now, I have to say, this is one of the best pieces of fiction I’ve seen in a while. Editing it feels like Christmas in January.
