Another beauty, thanks for sharing your work!

It came out great, nicely done!

I love where this is going. I think you should experiment some more with the prism itself. Like, maybe if it were outlined and the line where the two faces meet had a 3:1 or 2:1 slope. The way that line of opposing halfstitches shifts is really distracting.

These are so neat! For a TTRPG or… just the joy of dioramas?

This is awesome! Is this a pattern you’ve already published?

Well done! Those leaves are cuties.

Descriptive alt text for your pictures is important. In addition to it being an accessibility/inclusion issue in the usual sense, users can block content with filters that use the alt text (or lack thereof). Some refuse to share posts that lack alt text to encourage its use.

And use #craftsky

There were multiple comments on the original post from folks concerned about what chickens eat, that’s all.

Reuters claims the eggs in question won’t end up in retail by the dozen, but instead be hidden away in our processed foods…

I’m not saying there’s zero cause for concern, but folks need to be more discerning when they read. “Meat-raised chickens” refers to birds that are raised for the purpose of being slaughtered for meat, not birds with a meat-rich diet. OP should have cited a source.

US turns to Brazil for eggs and considers other sources during bird flu outbreak
The U.S. has almost doubled imports of Brazilian eggs once used only for pet food and is considering relaxing regulations for eggs laid by chickens raised for meat, as President Donald Trump's administration seeks to bring down sky-high prices spiked by bird flu.

This is the only thing I’ve used, Loops & Threads brand from Michaels 🤷🏻. It appears Zweigart is widely regarded as the “best”, and I’ll try it when there’s something else I need to order, but I’m a big proponent of “what’s available to you is good enough”. Crafters can get so gate-keepy.

The boba 🥹 eeeeee!

Thanks! I’m using regular backstitch. I think I prefer evenweave. Even on that 18ct Aida, a single strand of DMC doesn’t quite fill the hole — not so on 28ct evenweave, and I think everything comes out a little smoother/straighter. I’d use a temporary running stitch if I had to count a big distance.

Gorgeous!

You should try it! I am about half way through the “just the first 12 weeks” version of the 2025 PP SAL. I wanted something small to try a non-Aida evenweave for the first time - might be a good starting place for you too!
