hi, do your followers do caterpillars too? We saw this specimen on a walk in NE Hampshire on Sunday, looks like it's trying to blend into lichen but found crawling quickly on the path.

I combed my new garden this afternoon & think I found 3 types of #speedwell growing. Sharing for #wildflowerhour
Ivy leaf speedwell, germander speedwell, possibly thyme leaved speedwell but not sure about others or even if they are Veronicas. @bsbibotany.bsky.social

I have moved recently & my new garden has a small clump of Spanish bluebells. I'm probably about 1/4 mile from the nearest native bluebells. Do I need to remove the Spanish ones?
Native bluebell for interest.

A bit late for #woodlandplants for @wildflowerhour.bsky.social but I spotted this today on a hazel tree. A bit of research & I think it might be the big bud mite which causes buds to enlarge & reduces cropping.

Saw this interesting rosette today on my daily dog walk. On the edge of an disused runway in NE Hampshire. Any suggestions? It's not something I recognise as usual in that area.

The Brexit Curse

British food exports to EU ‘have fallen £3bn a year since Brexit’.

Border checks, lower standards on pesticides, veterinary drugs, animal welfare make UK exports harder.

Brexit costing UK economy about £100bn a year.

Rejoin EU.

Thanks for your For vote in the assisted dying bill. Still early days but one step nearer being able to have the deaths people want.
