God that was a depressing day.

So many ex Tories think they can get their old jobs back by switching to Reform.

😄 It is slightly weird if you live in the UK where we have our own political problems, but I see how important every US election is to all of us, wherever we live.

Already, people are staying away. I'm not sure what Disneyworld thinks of this! And universities are advising students against years abroad in the US - people are choosing alternatives like Canada and Australia.

It's so interesting because he knows he needs to win over more than 20% or so of voters who appear absolutely fine with racism (see: Facebook where all the comments under any Farage post is "But Enoch Powell was right...."). He can't cross the line so he's squirming around just one side of it.

Great comms! Great, BIG comms 😄

Also, I have questions about Beaver Bombing. Where do they get the beavers from????
December 7, 2025 at 9:22 AM
There's more wild beaver populations in the country than that article suggests. I think their data is quite out of date.

This is going to be the worst World Cup ever.
December 7, 2025 at 7:44 AM
The latter is probably the only realistic one.
December 6, 2025 at 3:47 PM
I'm not sure what choice you have. Under what mechanism can you change president mid term?

Who doesn't like solar panels??
December 5, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Sadly I agree.

This man should be nowhere near power. If Reform win the next election, I hate to think the damage they will do. It will take decades to recover.

It's almost like they're packing them off to war, assuming they'll never see them again.

100%! I have Uni aged and 6th form aged daughters and have never tracked them, would never do it. But it's worse, the *fuss* some parents make about their children going off to uni, & not seeing them for a few weeks really makes me despair.
November 30, 2025 at 2:43 PM
I don't think it *does* look like that.
November 30, 2025 at 12:31 PM
Good to hear this spelled out so clearly.

They need those benefit claimants to vote for them so need to punch as low as possible. It always comes back to the great Rupert Murdoch cartoon with his pile of cookies...
