Jan, our #GlobalTreeSeedBank germination specialist has used his magical method to germinate the seeds of three highly threatened Malagasy tree species at @rbgkew.bsky.social's Millennium Seed Bank. These are now growing on in the nursery and will soon be towering over us on display at Kew.

Having worked with Prof Fahal at BSMS @bsmsmedschool.bsky.social for years I've seen the dedication of the Mycetoma Research Centre to ending the suffering of those living with the debilitating disease...to see all that work and effort in ruins is incredibly sad.
