That Sunday night feeling will be rife tonight. Try to unwind as best as you can, watch a film, have a hot bath, whatever helps you relax. If you find you can't sleep don't lie in bed thinking, jot things down on a pad or get up, do something different, then head back to bed.

I’ve got Danny Dorling’s new book ‘Seven Children’ on pre-order. More shocking data on inequality and a fascinating look at the impact of poverty on children. Strengthens our case - we need radical change whether this raises taxes or not.

Geography is not my subject, but I can’t help thinking - isn’t it more likely that glaciers deposited the Stone Henge alter stone (from Scotland) and humans erected other more local stones around it? I think it’s called a ‘glacial erratic’?
