Mamdani's reference to "collectivism" was misunderstood. There's a long history of research into "collectivism" v "individualism." Here's an excellent PDF link to one. It's a dense scientific paper but it's important to understand the terms before arguing over them.

Why hasn't the economy suffered more from Trump's erratic and irrational tariffs? Read the details here, and you'll see that "you ain't seen nothin' yet." The worst is yet to come, but one thing's certain: Trump lied. Americans are paying for the tariffs.

I'm inundated by independent journalists wanting me to subscribe to their "feed" (in various formats). They have special sources, unique insight, etc. Many are impressive. The problem: highly fragmented journalism, with livelihoods in the balance will inevitably proliferate fake news.

I missed this, but highly recommend it for anyone thinking that extremism is a good strategy. Transactivist extremists like WPATH have damaged the very groups they purport to support. Progressives dominating Threads and making it an echo chamber are especially urged to read it and recover humility.

Stories like this are unhelpful. Only specific examples of grants that are now being challenged because of "DEI cancellation" is helpful. The many I've seen should not have been funded. Give me a specific grant if you disagree.

I didn't vote for Trump, like legal immigrants, aren't racist, want strong welfare systems YET I'M OUTRAGED BY MINNESOTA'S INCOMPETENCE AND THE INCREDIBLE WASTE OF TAX MONEY. Like most, I wasn't aware it was so bad. Thanks for highlighting it, MAGA.

There's much to dislike about Trump but not this. The extent of Minnesota's welfare fraud is only now coming to light. Governor Walz and other state officials have not been held politically accountable. There's much to dislike about progressives. This is one example.

Finally, Trump's DOJ is doing something positive. I've read horrifying cases of illegal reverse discrimination, so getting the truth from courts is good. Racial disparities are bad but reverse discrimination to change that is worse.

I'm begging my fellow voters who want to regain Congress and end Trump's tyranny, DO NOT IGNORE THIS ISSUE! DEI was often excessive. We must recognize that as we still fight to eliminate racism and achieve equality for all.

Biden's excesses gave us Trump and the polar opposite immigration policy. History tells us both are bad. Democrats should offer to end sanctuary laws if Trump puts an immigration reform package on the table. Compromise is possible if Democrats first concede.

Excellent sobering read. There's little doubt that Trump's immigration officials have been excessive, but we should have expected this after decades of effectively operating with open borders. Immigration must be managed, not cast aside in the name of sympathy.
