I'm anxious to see this reach the SCOTUS. I hope they'll support my position: visa-holders don't have the same free speech rights as permanent residents. They're conditional guests. The larger question now is actionably describing their speech limitations.

HAPPENING NOW: In federal court in MN, DOJ is struggling to articulate why a person following an ICE vehicle — so long as they are obeying traffic laws — can be stopped for "reasonable suspicion" of a crime.

Judge Menendez sharply questioning that contention.

Donald Trump has ensured that America no longer has allies willing to come to our defense after another 9/11 attack. "America first" is an okay opening gambit to negotiations but not if it translates to "America only."
The “Donroe doctrine” is about power and natural resources, not values. America’s adversaries—and its allies—have been warned
In Donald Trump’s world, the strong take what they can

It's a false equivalency to compare the Federal Reserve's independence to university independence.
This is the sort of statement that was expected from every university president and law firm partner over the last year. That those statements weren’t made played a huge part in where we are now and people will remember.
Jerome Powell: "This is about whether the Fed will be able to continue to set interest rates based on evidence and economic conditions—or whether instead monetary policy will be directed by political pressure or intimidation."

Yes or no. Do U.S. welfare systems like SNAP or Medicaid need "hard" guardrails like frequent proof of eligibility even if that means some people are mistakenly denied benefits?

And please know what "peaceful" means! It's illegal to impede an enforcement official as they perform their duties.
As we continue to protest in whatever ways we can, please remember to remain peaceful. They are purposely getting more aggressive in an attempt to get us to fight back so they can tell the public we’re domestic terrorists and invoke the insurrection act. DON’T TAKE THE BAIT!

A critique of BlueSky users: I'd be rich if I had a dollar for every liberal who followed me because of a favorable post and then unfollowed after I make a post favored by conservatives (I consistently say Trump's unfit for office). Think about what that means.

Seriously, a "Melania" movie? What other First Lady has so brazenly written her own biographical movie while occupying the White House? I think it's unseemly and grossly egotistical at best. I won't be watching it.

Stop demonstrating FOR the immigration status quo, Democrats! That's a political loser. Show leadership. Demand Congress pass immigration reform that forbids sanctuary policies, speeds due process for illegal immigrants and provides a path to non-voting citizenship for illegals in good standing.

I held my nose and voted for Harris because Trump is the wrong person to lead a conservative resurgence. He's a troubled narcissist. In judges, we're getting what we voted for. The Senate's 2013 & 2017 rules changes allowed ideological judges. They can undo that.
