Today was difficult. Officially a designated crisis responder, then immediately choked reading rights.

The world is burning but Danali is still Danali, Tahoma is still Tahoma, and I finally finished the front door piece of my favorite place on earth.

Change is difficult. Necessary and typically rewarding but difficult none the less. So is stagnation. Staying the same is more difficult. Regret is more painful.

Today, I choose rewarding pain. Today, I choose the path that will bring the soul some semblance of peace, despite the difficulty.
