Not sure. Newcastle's stance obviously changed in recent years, some new clubs in the league so weren't involved originally. People been denied winning league, CL football or been relegated based upon obvious cheating. Maybe staying quiet and getting their own legal cases ready for verdict

Whatever the punishment, it won't be enough. They've gone into it knowing the rules and choosing to ignore them at every turn. Found guilty, appeal and hope boredom kicks in while their fans claim witch hunt. City clearly don't care - done another half a billion in 12 months. Just taking the piss
