Scrutineers can only challenge a vote, and then AEC staff review it and make the final decision. No scrutineer can "reject" a vote or decide if a vote is for one person or another. Only AEC staff do that.

Both! We, the voting public, are apparently so stupid that the Libs need to tell us what we want, despite us telling them just one week ago, that we don't want what they are offering.

They only have declaration and postal votes to count according to the AEC website. They have to verify that all the envelopes are valid before they open them and count

Yep. No matter how hard I try, I don't understand how the republicans backed him again, and how millions of Americans voted for him again, and how millions more didn't vote (again) in an attempt to stop him!

I wonder if the centre called the parents of the other child to let them know what happened. I also wonder if your daughter would have been told if the random guy took her back to the centre rather than call your daughter!

Where I live, we have had a 1 in 200 year flood in 2022 and I one in 100 year flood in 2024. Before that, the last really big one was in the 1970s.
