It helps to have people around you who try to understand. My last post of 2025 is a thank you to friends like @franklyfrightening.bsky.social and an invitation for us all to reflect and reach out, even in our moments of perceived failure. We can bounce back, we can be better. Let's do it together.

I acknowledged the point and tried to walk through what elevated the situation and how I could improve in the future. As an intense competitor, sometimes I let that get the best of me. My hope is to be an example of how to get better over time for others who have a similar fighting spirit.

I was a little disappointed in how scripted some of it felt, but I do appreciate the part of it that is a true celebration of the artists, devs, and community.

My hope is that in addition to this, we can do something to bolster smaller communities and studios in the future.

In addition, feel free to add your thoughts about what matters most to you when watching, playing, or discussing a video game.

Journaling also reminded me of some of the goals I have set for myself. At this time, goals are more of a direction as I step back from "perfectionism" to embrace process. Even so, I hope to continue making progress on various goals by writing them down for the coming week. #personaldevelopment
