I am simply suggesting large pools of empty housing can be found in a community with an excruciating housing shortage, counter to the assertion I responded to. Most unhoused people in ski towns have jobs, even cars. Just not housing as that solely belongs or is being built for absentee owners.

Ski towns are an example. Thousands of empty homes owned by trusts and corporations. Thousands of workers meanwhile sleep in cars and vans. Anywhere but those empty homes.

If you have space for small vegetable garden, plant 12-18” tall plants outdoors in the spring. Mature plants can even survive snow if planted in the ground.
