Another underrated Christmas gem to check out is 8-Bit Christmas

Here’s one:

There’s a lot of good Christmas horror movies like Black Christmas (the original), Silent Night Deadly Night, and Krampus (2015)

But 2016’s Better Watch Out is very overlooked.

It’s best going into it completely blind

I sometimes try to separate the art from the artist. I love his movies but damn it it is making it hard to like him as a person.

Coppola of course has done awful things too, but also directed one of my favorite movies, the Outsiders

John Landis has made great comedies and American Werewolf 1/2

And hopefully they’ll give him the giant pickle head like originally intended. Just have them say his brain evolved or something

I have somewhat a soft spot for at least the first 2. I watched the first one on VHS and I remember seeing the 2nd one in theaters.

Maybe it is nostalgia, I don’t know, but I do think the first two held up quite well.

The 3rd one on the other hand…yeah not so good.

Technically it’s a loophole because it’s on Hulu, and there’s the whole Disney+ on Hulu thing. So that’s why some Christmas movies like Polar Express, Jack Frost and even a Christmas Story is on there
