It’s just about message discipline. From the top to the bottom. Dems embarrassed about having to do propaganda even when it’s TRUE. Imagine if every Dem pol started every sentence with “we thank the Biden Harris administration for rescuing us from the disaster that sore loser donald Trump left us.”

Can't argue with your premise, at all. Its solid. In a previous post, I said I'll be ready when the 92% calls. But I guess my initial question remains, do we still need a transcendent singular figure to rally around. Are we a movement devoid of leadership.

Understand. But the opposition is there largely to keep an alternative alive and viable. Hope to the tired. A voice for the voiceless. A bulwark against runaway policies and a foil against authoritarian impulses. None of which, I fear, currently exist.
