Until recently, I had always cooked with gas... We couldn’t be happier with our choice to go induction because cooking on it is so easy. And we’re saving money because induction cooking is three times more efficient than gas..” 3/

In the 1990s, Minnesota gas utilities were continuing to grow. Expanding to new customers helped spread the cost of pipelines across more people — helping to reduce customer rates across the board.

But this justification no longer applies.
