Elon says farming has no impact on climate, but he’s just wrong. Food generates ⅓ of our emissions, more than transportation or electricity. We’re making progress on energy-partly thanks to Elon!-but not on food.

Using Kernza, a perennial grain with 1/3 the yield of wheat, to make crackers and beer for rich people is NOT a climate solution.

There’s much to be gleaned from nature, but not necessarily mimicked. This books helps to shift from blind mimicry to ask question “which wisdom can we keep and which can we leave?” It uses an evolutionary perspective to point to areas with higher likelihood of success. Highly recommended reading

Is this simple "institutional renewal" or significant reforms & possible power grab by CN at #FAO? openknowledge.fao.org/items/fadb29... If latter, not exactly the best timimg to be provoking those who opposed multilaterism, treaties, and global cooperation with isolationism growing in FR, US, etc
