I loooove floppy cats. When mine needs attention she walks between my legs, then when I bend down to pet her she flops hard on her side and stretches out as big as she can. It's a good system.

Our library hosted a Paint Your Partner session today and this is what Lyd and I made in one hour. It might not look like much, but I haven't painted since the 8th grade and I'm reaaaaally happy with how mine turned out. I think it really captures Lyd's Cool Guy Aura.

Go see No Other Land. Take your friend/family/coworker who "doesn't know what to think" about the Israeli-Palestine conflict because "it's very complicated." This really is an important documentary and I hope it opens a lot of eyes.

If you're in Omaha it's only playing at Ruth Sokolof for this week

Had to say goodbye to my sweet little Agnes this morning. She was a tough rat, made it to three years old, outliving all her sisters whom she loved so much. Yet she also had the softest fur of any creature I've ever felt. I'll miss you, Aggie.

Made my fall pot using 2 small mums, an ornamental cabbage, and a bunch of trimmings from my garden. Very proud of this one! Looks even better with the mums in bloom.
