Oh and I wasn't even thinking about dressing up the rodent and building their house/cage when I posted this. Like just as a Picross game ALONE, it is so much better than any other I've ever played. All of the other features are just a cherry on top.

Noooo I was joking. 😹 Just making fun of old schoolyard rumors. It was only in Japan and basically their version of Blue as far as available Pokémon, but way buggier (and with different sprites as you said).
Japan's Blue had the updated sprites we got and unique Pokémon encounters, like wild Jynx.

Most people think Green didn't release outside of Japan, but acshually my uncle who worked at Nintendo gave me a copy, and you could catch Mew and Pikablu in it.

Oh, you can skip straight to the new chapters! I got the game on a different platform than I played before, so that's what I did the first time. Then I did a second playthrough from the beginning because I wanted to play again.
