And finally, I’m so happy to share that I will be teaching and researching at the University of Toulon this academic year! 🌞🌴

After 11.5 years and six university degrees, I am thrilled and quite emotional to be closing the student chapter of my life. I am very excited to be moving on in my career in teaching and researching as Dr Garcenot 🎓

I am so happy to share that I officially graduated with a PhD in English Literature from York this summer!

Currently working on a transcription and translation project for the @nationaltrust.bsky.social ! Dusting off the paleography skills for all 58 pages of a gentleman’s travel diary .. 👀

Officially finished with teaching undergrads @uoyenglishrl.bsky.social ! It was such a full circle moment to discuss as a teacher the books that I had last read as a student at uni or for agrégation 🥹

I had a wonderful time attending #BSECS2025 in Pembroke College Oxford! Such a joy to see friendly faces from previous conferences and to present my research as a brand new doctor 🫶🏼
