Bullshit. Zionism is settler colonialism of European people into Palestine, setting up an apartheid ethno-nationalist state and bullying and oppressing Muslims, Christians and also existing middle eastern Jewish communities. Judaism as a faith is better than that, as many Jewish people know.

Today marks 24 years to the day I first moved to Italy. Nearly half my life, as I was 25 at the time. But I'm still British/Londoner, and always will be. Some things I love about Italy, some things less so. Stupid Robert Jenrick wanting to force immigrants to 'integrate' is such racist rubbish.

I could talk for hours about redesigning food systems, but economic systems I'm far less educated about...all I know is that I want some clever economists to design a system that countries around the world can adopt to redress the unjust imbalances within countries and between Global North & South

Taxing high earners is again taxing work not wealth. It will affect the middle class... the dentists, architects, lawyers who are earning £150K - £300K?? People HATE that, and feel it disincentivizes innovation and entrepreneurship. It's the really wealthy who should pay tax on their hoarded wealth.

I believe the example of Norway shows that it can work. There has to be a way to balance the situation. The problem is that the whole global finance/tax haven/media/government policy situation stacks the decks towards the interests of the very rich over the majority.

As I said, Italy is very flawed too. And has its own problems with the far right. I'm not saying this is a good system at all, just that life is better here for most people than in the UK.

Well we'd definitely be closer with a government who at least wanted to find a way! Reform will definitely not do it as Farage adores and panders to the super rich. Neither will Tories or Red Tories (Labour).

The Italian system is also flawed. But here in Italy we have decent public services, they didn't go crazy with privatization and austerity like the UK, plus there is not an aristocracy and monarchy who own all the land. It's the way of the rich to tell the populace that equality is a fairy tale...

Tax wealth not work. It's not a just society when a fraction of people hoard wealth and then cry that they might lose the inheritance for their spoiled kids, when other children live in hunger & poverty with a govt. who doesn't even give any support if they're a 3rd or 4th child. They have BILLIONS.

Personally I think it would be best to coordinate globally, because they will try to run off with liquid assets. Physical assets cannot be. UK has many foreign nationals owning assets because it's a laundering country, but this list is a start. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...
