Got my renewal notice from Harvard Pilgrim. My new plan, if I keep it, will be $779.60/mo, up from 711.00 this year, up from 640.00 in 2024. Those plan changes...woof. OOP max goes down $350, everything else gets put behind deductible, $200 pharmacy deductible added. Most costs way up.

My wife's plan is 451/mo, going to ~480/mo for 2026.
My plan is 711/mo, going to ~800/mo for 2026.
I'm really fortunate I can afford to pay this w/o help, but this is what it will look like for folks who are losing subsidies. We're two people. If we had kids, premiums would be more than 17k/yr.

This is a bit better a representation of voter turnout/data for each municipal year. The 80's starts fairly high and then by 95 we've regressed to a fairly flat trend. 2003 has that big drop which coincides with a lot of people who were in k-12 in 93 now age of majority not having required civics...

It's the most wonderful time of year: awaiting our health plan renewal notices with the corresponding premium increases.
Just my health plan (Harvard Pilgrim) is expected to be about $800/mo. My wife's plan will be about another $480. We have silver medal plans on the state exchange.

Fenway Health is canceling its gender affirming care program for minors. People uprooted their lives and moved states to come to places like this, and it feels like no one cares even half as much about thing like this as they did literally anything else last year.
