Just watched a tv episode that had scenes so dark, all I could see was my own reflection. Do the people who make these shows care that some of us are watching on our phones?

How much money should a person make to get good healthcare?

If your answer isn’t 0$…we probably won’t be great friends.

I don’t think of myself as superstitious, but I refuse to listen to music in the car with the volume at 13. 🤷‍♂️

I just found out that hopepunk is a sci-fi subgenre. Sounds like just what I could use!

I’ve waited to introduce myself to a new person in my small office too long. Now it’s awkward.

I know nothing about the Oscars except that ‘Flow’ won best animated feature, and that makes me very happy!

A comfort I find in reading dystopian sci-fi is that modern examples of fascism have shown that humans are really not smart enough to instigate a lot of them. Too much unnecessarily complex infrastructure.

Tried to play Civilization, but I just can’t handle games that onboard you with about a dozen submenus. I blame old age, because I used to love that stuff.

I really want to do more theatre, but I also really, really value having a home life with my family.

Do other people see actors make interesting expressions and then practice in the mirror until you know how to do it too, or is that strange? …asking for…a friend…yeah

My mom texts me after each football game she watches to tell me the winner. I couldn’t care less about sports, but it’s a sweet gesture, I suppose.

The premise of a movie is not a spoiler. If you keep the premise a secret in your recommendation I will not take it seriously, because a movie that can’t survive having its premise exposed sounds gimmicky.

Rehearsal might be my favorite part of theatre. Everyone’s open to trying new choices, and you can still occasionally break into unscripted giggles.

I’ve seen tons of terrible kids movies in the past decade, so I’m pretty well versed in what I call ‘kid-movie-overacting.’ For some reason, the overacting in Sonic 3 was endearing rather than annoying. 🤷‍♂️

This week we covered the sudden cult classic, Delay, Deny, Defend. Oddly enough, the book has little to say about health insurance. If you're interested in reading the book, save yourself some grief and get the highlights from us.

I hate how many articles are the result of a reporter asking a soundbyte question with the subject then answering (basically) “Sure.”

Nosferatu was great, but the voice used for Orlok is as silly as the Bane voice in Dark Knight Rises.

All I’m saying is that all these ‘immortality is a curse’ quotes come from mortals. I’m willing to give it a shot and report back.

I really love Star Trek. I couldn’t care less what is ‘canon.’ Good stories are good stories.

As much as I love the idea of getting rid of Daylight Saving Time, it’s currently 5:45pm and it might as well be midnight outside. Ugh.

I’m loving Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, but for some reason, I keep expecting to hear the theme from Uncharted.

Sometimes I find myself thinking about how “A Witch's Tangled Hare” makes no explanation of why or how Bugs Bunny finds himself in the 16th century, and no one cared.

I hope I’m being a good dad, but it sure doesn’t feel like it when the kids choose some junky kids movie to watch for movie night. There’s some real low quality scripts out there…
