I told the audience last Saturday in Dublin that Black History is not just about the past. It’s about building the future. One where every child, no matter their background or skin colour, knows they belong, knows they can lead, and knows they can change Ireland for the better. We are one!

Stop this GENOCIDE NOW!
After the Tidy Towns, I attended the Rally in support of the people of Palestine with my Green Party colleagues Oliver Moran and Colette Finn.
How many more people will they kill before humanity wakes up?
Massive turnout today. Thank you all for coming.

Week 101

The protest goes on. Today, we gathered outside Micheál Martin’s office in Cork to raise our voices once again.

The genocide must end. The killings must stop.

It's time to implement the Occupied Territories Bill.

Let’s stand for Gaza. Let’s protect the children.

Thank you to everyone.

Just wrapped a powerful convo on building a diverse & inclusive Ireland. As a migrant, parent & Cork’s 1st Black Cllr & Deputy Lord Mayor, I know representation matters.

Thank you to the council for the positive response on the Cork Lido Project! Once completed, this will be a fantastic tourism destination for our city & will provide much-needed space for competitions and help nurture local talent. Huge thanks to Amy Campbell @echolive.bsky.social for this report.

3 out of 5 young people are forced to leave Ireland because of housing. The system is broken, failing a whole generation.

Vulture funds must be stopped. Families deserve protection, not displacement.

Join us Oct 4th in Cork for the Raise the Roof protest.

St. Gabriel’s Special School in Bishopstown has lost its hot meals service, leaving 54 children, many with complex needs, without daily meals. This is deeply troubling. I stand with the parents, teachers & students and urge the Dept. of Social Protection to fix this problem immediately.

Thank to Neil Michael at the Irish Examiner for shining a light on this important water quality issue. The time for promises by Uisce Eireann is long overdue. I want to see immediate solutions to this water issue in Cork, I want action because Cork people don't deserve this kind of treatment.

As a parent, this hits home. School secretaries & caretakers are the heart of our schools, the quiet heroes who care for our kids, keep things running, and show up every single day. They deserve dignity, respect, Pension Parity.
I stand with them always!
