They treat nature like it has no voice.

But it does. Yours, ours, and millions more.

If you believe nature deserves better than this, make sure your MP hears it loud and clear:

Tell the UK Government they must do better for nature!
I've just emailed my MP to tell them what nature means to me and that I want it to stay protected. Will you take action too?

As you see, this is only the beginning and we'll need you support at the next town council, whether it be letters of support or speaking publicly!

I plan to contact our local environmental groups to discuss why this issue is going on in Penryn and Falmouth and how we can make sure our local councils are ditching pesticides as much as possible and adopt more sustainable practices.

Now what? It means this item is coming back to the council meeting next month. We managed to ask the TC to expand the brief to alternative de-weeding techniques. We still have to convince councillors to take the environmental high road rather than the cheap harmful solution.

If you want to help, please send an email to [email protected] by Monday 24/11 by 5pm at the latest to oppose using glyphosate (RoundUp) in Penryn. Let's protect the bees and the bumblebees!

Just for those who are a bit pedantic on rail names, yes Castle class are class 225 but the stock is the same as the former 125 and are more widely known by this name.

I also call residents to send us any ideas for small infrastructure improvements as we are discussing budget at this time of the year and how to spend CIL funds. I am currently pushing for secure bike storage, pavement parking enforct and maintenance for pedestrian paths.
