Under the revised EU EPB Directive, the Government is required to submit a plan before the end of 2025 detailing how it will decarbonise our building stock to meet climate goals.

This provides an opportunity to increase the equitable delivery of warm and affordable homes.

To centre housing justice in climate action, the CEJ calls on the Gov to ensure the plan supports those most at risk of energy poverty and includes tenant safeguards such as rent supports and caps.
