Apart from everything else, “editoress”? In 2011. OMFG. That alone is disqualifying. Add up all the rest and yeeting into the sun is too good for this man.

Gelato. Always disappointing, no matter where it’s from or how hot the day or what the flavour is.

Sorry to hear you’ve had a rough week. Wishing you a lovely nose for your wine and good cards for your husband.

5. No indication of depth/length of discussion.

And that’s to say nothing about the fact Ctrl-F is useless when you’re reading a physical book.

Beyond that, indexes show you the structure of a text and use cross-references to help you find more information (things you didn’t know to look for).

Ctrl-F can fail you on a few fronts. 1. Way too many results to be useful, with no subcategorizing. 2. False positives. 3. Missing results because of different phrasing or oblique references. 4. You don’t come up with the term the author used. (Cont.)

So proud of my home town. There in spirit even if not there in person.

So happy to see this. Proud of my fellow Minnesotans.

Thank you! That was one of the first things that jumped out at me. I hate to write off a ST series without giving it a try, but my inner Trekkie is noping out like Picard around Lwaxana.
