One way to stop the cycle of feeding your money hand over fist to AWS is to think outside their box. When simply understanding your costs comes with substantial cost/third party integrations, you’re thinking and playing inside theirs. $50/yr is probably cheaper than Cost Explorer usage charges.

BOYD leverages the data processing and visualization capabilities of @python.org (3.12), @pola.rs, and @plotly.com #dash.

How does it work? Simply point BOYD at your CUR bucket, select the columns that matter for your use case, and collect the data. Once collected, you can build filters to visualize with @plotly.com charts, apply classifications, and derive context from supported AWS APIs.

If you find Cost Explorer too limiting or want immediate context about your data, BOYD can save you from console pivots or technical complexities otherwise required and streamline visibility of your assets. Access to your CUR parquet via the AWS CLI is all that is required.
