did more physical activity, drove more and did a bunch of new things on my own, actually made a lot of friends at work and met more mutuals irl, got more into my hobbies that aren't drawing, helped my family a lot this year with a lot of emergencies, interviewed for a promotion and got it!!! PHEW!!

some highlights: helped run a sketch night program where I moderated and taught tweens/teens monthly, went back to school and have finished two semesters already, did an art mentorship, attended and spoke at local community hearings AND called my reps and sent them postcards-

while I was going through my art I was also reflecting on the last year and even though it was really challenging and difficult for a number of reasons (and ya know...the state of the world at All Times) there's actually A LOT that I got done and am super proud of ;;_;;

art was hard this year (as it is every year lol...) but i think it had to do more with like "growing pains" as I developed my style vs it being hard because I wasn't enjoying it. I really enjoyed drawing this year!! I'm enjoying being self-indulgent :')

genuinely despite the stress I'm so thankful for all of you and your support, both for my art, myself, and my little guy.... I feel so encouraged moving forward into 2026 and despite the hellish year I had a lot of good things happen and have more good things to look forward to...manifesting !!!

it was a little hectic yesterday, vet took most of the day because they were busy and then immediately had to stop by the hospital for my grandma (she was able to leave earlier today!) AND it was new years?!?!? phew....

things that have happened in the last 24hrs:

> dropped ebi off at the vet for all day fluids again
> pipes suddenly pushing water into tub and leaking out of toilet
> 8hrs later THE BIGGEST TREE ROOTS EVER GOT TAKEN OUT
>gma is in hospital again
>ebi back home

I think someone cursed me

labs stable and good but vet (and 2nd vet) wanted to keep him for IV fluids for the day so he'd complete the full 48hrs... good news is he comes back without a cone and catheter tonight!!!!

thank you thank you a million thank yous to everyone who's pitched in and donated... I'll check back in tomorrow... im gonna pass out from the whirlwind of emotions
