A policeman with a machine gun does not make me safe. Banning protests does not make me safe. Improved equality through fair taxation and livably wages, better (non religion based) equitable education and serious punishment for those who preach and broadcast hate speech makes me feel more safe.

And his hospital doctors are also Syrians. Just hope the ALP hold their nerve and don’t adopt any knee jerk reactions and make matters even worse.
