It would be nice to have a plan moving forward that in the 2027 winter ,the league gets rid of most of the TAM, GAM, and DP tags and just goes to a straight salary cap of say $40 mil, ties it to media deals and the league stops letting teams in…

From initial cost to current valuation, the clubs value has increased by 2733%. They also supposedly made $83 million in total revenue in 2024. One could presume that if using the NFL model that the salary cap should be closer to $45-$50 mil.

I know, and that’s part of the reason I wanted the 49ers versus the Rams…the only reason the 9ers won was very fluky play from a now good cornerback.

If it wasn’t for the way Woolen played in the forth quarter against the fully healthy 9ers, the Hawks win that game as well…he had a bizarre brain fart while covering Pearsal then let Tonges snatch the ball from him in the corner of the end zone…and hawks still had a chance to win…
