I’m a lay pastor and gardener, I love cooking, art and dog walking. I live in an eco house. Despite being retired I’m still interested in tax. And reading. I read all the time even when I should be busy. I hate rainy days on holidays.happily married Alan.
Loved that book.

This morning! There are two barn owls who hunt in a field of scrub mainly hawthorn which is set aside awaiting development as a housing estate where I walk my dog. They are beautiful and it will be so sad for all of us when the builders eventually arrive.

It’s rare for a back bench Lib Dem MP to get an invite. Hope it went well.

I followed you on twitter but left there and came here. I’m a silent follower generally but thank you for your birds. They brighten my days.

We have a springer collie cross too - a very high octane combination even at 6 years old but a lovely pet.

Of course in the UK too many are cancelled delayed or badly timetabled so connections don’t work

Perhaps I should warn you that Great British Bake Off (GBBO to its fans) is lovely but most of us don’t bake showstoppers on a regular, or indeed an irregular basis, and a Greggs Sausage Roll is probably more representative of normal British food!

We’ve been there with redundancy in December. Very shocking at the time with two small children But that was over 30 years ago and, in hindsight, it set us on a very different but better path. Praying for you as you negotiate new challenges.

Oh how delightful it’s local! Richard’s journey from MinsterLovell to Oxford would have travelled past my home in Eynsham. It’s a lovely story.

You need to do your steps training as well for the climb up from the town to the abbey 😀

Haven’t been on twitter for days and now realise how miserable and Musk centric it had become

Nope, my collie/spaniel cross considers no weather bad enough to cancel walks. 5-6 miles a day. Every day. I actually think she is so ball obsessed that she doesn’t actually notice the weather 😀
