I'm hoping it's temporary, seeing as how they are probably in the process of updating their system for the new hardware SKU's. Hopefully some of them will be a barebones Steam Machine. I've got a spare NVMe drive and 16Gb of DDR5 laptop ram ready. Please be $400!

Beware, as far as I know, there's a bug near the end of the game that softlocks you from completing it. I was at 93%. It's also in the Steam version. Check the discussion in the forums.

You forgot the possible 3rd thing. Mass exodus to playing backlogs. Forcing many devs to scale downwards to older hardware.

Funny how all the media is neglecting that critical detail? It's almost as if they're trying to build FOMO for others to buy this console.

Is that 17 million sold to stores? Or to actual customers?

I appreciate the gesture, but I implore you to remove the AI generated banner! You're going to lose customers over this, and potentially cancelations of your Patron program. Try starting a contest for artists to submit a banner instead. Engage the public in a positive way.

Brought to you by Amy Hood. Who hoodwinked Xbox into a 30% profit margin. Brilliant.

Geez, you just became a private company, and were doing so well! This is a PR nightmare! Learn how to read the room, like Steam. Gamers hate A.I.!

I'm glad you all enjoyed this game, but it bored the hell out of me. Played it for about 2 hours on Gamepass and uninstalled it. The background animal noises were annoying, and the characters have no sound effects to their speech bubbles. And the story is so slow, it felt like a chore.

Reminds me when Valve's "Steam Deck" took over the mindshare from Elgato's "Stream Deck."

If GTA VI gets a date close to Fable. Fable will delay it until 2027. Which is probably what they wanted to do anyway.

Alan Wake 2 was published by Epic Games. It would be like Valve putting Half-Life 3 on EGS. The only draw they have to their storefront is free weekly games and timed exclusives. If they do put it on Steam, they have essentially admitted they failed to be competitive.

Is it me, or is Premium at $15 becoming the better deal? I don't really need day one releases at $30 a month, where you're basically a beta tester for up to a year in patches and optimization.

Here's hoping the new year brings a $600 or less Gabe Cube. The right PC/Console at the wrong time can make all the difference...

This also converts into 2 months of Xbox Gamepass Ultimate, if you still have an Xbox. Making it $15 per month.
