I’m somewhat of a thinker myself.
Can you back that up? Because the statements don’t really break up profits by division. Phil has said multiple times Gamepass is profitable, I’m inclined to believe him seeing that if it wasn’t he would be misleading the shareholders and could face jail time.

Xbox services revenue was up 9% last quarter. Hardware division is irrelevant since the console never made money. And what are you talking about? Exclusives?? Because there are no exclusives anymore, thats the point. Doom, Indiana Jones, Oblivion, all huge hits.

The layoffs are not due to poor performance so the basic assumption of this article is wrong. Gamepass is making a ton of money. Xbox as a publisher is making a ton of money. This is about hyper focusing on what makes the most money to maximize profit. It’s business as usual.

They want you to be scared so don’t be, that’s how they win.

They don’t have to pay anyone. Most websites have the Meta Pixel installed because it is used to track advertising performance. If anything website are paying them. The same also applies for Google, which is embedded in even more websites because Google Analytics is the standard for web analytics.

The same way all of America’s problems can be fixed: with education.

Pointing out the stupidity of your statement in no way reflects an endorsement of Trump or MAGA.

That’s a ridiculous assertion, most people don’t read newspapers and even less read the NYT. Secondly, it really undermines voter’s free will and the personal responsibility that arises from the execution of said free will.

The voters handed Trump the presidency, the people.

Another billionaire? Really? That’s your solution?

Puerto Rico is lovely every day of the year! Just saying 😏

Send them all my way, I’m a degenerate.

I find it… strange, that the death of the witness is mentioned almost in passing and with literally no suspicion at all. Which is incredibly suspicious since I can’t find the cause of death anywhere.

AI can be used for that. The way I’ve used it is I have a conversation with it regarding what I’m thinking, and it pushes me to articulate what I want to say in a clearer way to the point I myself get clearer understanding and can better put it to paper.

Are you implying he isn’t the greatest artist to have ever lived and who will ever live?
January 16, 2025 at 11:12 PM
That would require him to be competent.

The option is that they can sell the app to a US company, you know like they’ve been allowed to do. The fact that they won’t tells you everything.

I agree people don’t care about anything which is why we are so deep in shit right now. Apathy is the biggest threat to liberal democracies.

Public squares are public squares, not privately owned forums controlled by hostile nations that frequently engage in interference. TikTok is a cultural weapon that can be used to further destabilize our society, it doesn’t need to go but it needs to be under American control.

They talked about the economy but didn’t say much of anything really. Trump came with a very clear plan of what he was going to do to fix the economy. Whether the plan is sound or not is inconsequential when it comes to winning the election.

Stop putting in doubt the voting system unless you are absolutely certain and have proof that there was fraud, or you are sure that we are better off without elections at all. The system only works if people trust it, the moment they don’t democracy is effectively over.

Well he wanted to destroy them back in 2016 and here they are still. Look corps like the regulators because they keep barriers to entry high.

And even if he did decide to end all of these agencies, we can just establish them again in 4 years. But I doubt it will come to that.

He can’t and won’t retire existing vaccines from the market, so at worst all he can do is encourage people not to get them. I think we need to make up our minds about whether adults are free to make their own decisions or if they are babies the government needs to constantly babysit.
December 6, 2024 at 8:10 PM
If that were the case (which I doubt, corps love these agencies as they are functionally industry gatekeepers)They can be created again.
