That’s really interesting. I can see why - if you are paying, and also have term time jobs etc, it changes motivation

I was very surprised at how little was needed

And AI probably doesn't help because it means it's possible to avoid the work of learning (yes, you can use it to learn better if motivated, don't @ me) if avoidance is what the students want to do. 2/2

Leader of the Opposition in the UK (Conservative party) - 'welfare spending in unchristian'. The whole 'prosperity bible' and 'if jesus loves you, you'll be rich' thing is a cancer

I raise you this one from Frontiers of Cell Biology. There's basically a whole industry of 'special issues' that print anything if you pay

AZU are a) massive and b) very innovative. If it remains a small outpost, then yeah, not much changes, but if they expect to expand, then they will out-compete. They have registered as a UK provider and charge UK fees to home students.

Evergreen quote:

“How did you go bankrupt?"
"Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly.”

I also recommend Mark Wildman's covid era instructional videos (the latest ones mainly sell stuff). He has playlists and really clear instrucitons on form and how to structure a program.

You can over think this stuff massively. Just get some weights and lift them frequently. That's enough

If you are self motivated (and be honest wiht yourself!) then a home gym doesn't need much - a few kettlebells or one adjustable. Pay for a few sessions with a trainer to learn the technique, then buy the Easy Strength Omnibook from danjohnuniversity.com/bookstore

Do that and it's enough

Oh I agree, but I fear we have to get through a reform failure first. Which will not be fun.
