As an American soccer fan, I hate FIFA and have hated FIFA. Have hated it for years--the bribery that went into Russia and Qatar getting the WC is disgusting. No WC in-person games for me. Fuck FIFA and this WC.

Like many who have commented, Owen Meany is so special to me, and Cider House Rules..well..rules. If I can plug an early novel, I enjoyed the short novel of his--"158-lb Marriage". Yes, even more wrestling plus marriage/relationship complexity.

Dudes living in Iowa are freaked out by NYC mayor trying to provide free busses yet the possibilty of a multi-trillion fed bailout of AI is just fine. IMO AI will definitely cause a stock recession as a lot of tech companies will get burned. Big Short Burry is looking smarter with his AI shorts

I just rewatched last week. So great. The song and dance routine is so bizzarre, but hilarious. At the end the villagers' mob disburses for no real reason but to have crumb cake at the lumberyard.
