Yes, Kindel has more potential than Bill and Horcoff. My whole argument was centered around over reaching for players. Do I think Kindel has the potential to be very good, yes I do, but from what was said and researched there for 3 or more better players on the board. Horcoff was just a bad pick.

Yes we have. However, with this draft being meh, how can you reach 10+ picks for Brindel with Smith, Eklund, Lakovic, etc. I mean it’s not a horrible pick, but Horcoff? Traded up for that? For what? The last name? Then reach by 30-40 picks on that defenseman and taking on a shit contract? It’s wild

Yeah I don’t know. These picks were something I’d consider a reach at every aspect imaginable. Makes no sense what so ever in what the scouting team saw over likes of Eklund, Smith, Aitchenson, Lakovic, Potter, I mean I don’t know. I really don’t know. At least we’re not the Sabres I guess?

Well let the search begin. I don’t even know where they’re going to look. Someone that is respected and can bring energy, development, and can get the most out of the veterans. I don’t know if a college coach is the way to go right now with the core. If the core was retired, sure, but not now.

No offense but who cares. Just enjoy the rest of the season. It’s not a deep draft class like it has been the last 2-3 years. Just enjoy the ride and it’s nice to see the young guys get 15+ minutes of ice time.

I mean maybe I’m in the train of being up the young guys, but why not Rutger or Ville? Ville has been lighting it up. Why not just see what happens during one game when the pens honestly don’t really have anything to lose minus the top pick in the draft? I know don’t rush development and all..

Yeah I’m confused by that. Unless Quinn likes him leading the power play and that’s why? Powerplay went from 32 to 9 in the league while being a terrible all around team. Dubas is gonna take massive swings in the summer. Marner, Mactavish, Ehlers, Dobson, Bouchard, Chychrun. Summer gonna be fun.

Going to be in the minority here. Can’t trade Rakell. I think he is vital to the small rebuild they’re going through unless you go get a massive player in return. He’s having a career year. Again, I’m probably a very small percentage of fans that don’t want him traded
