I actually enjoyed it a lot. I had to rate 10 games in the Jam to be able to rate yours, so I played some and this was my favourite of of all I played :)

I’m deep in system rebuilds now, and honestly? It’s way more fun. The new gameplay loop actually feels like running a Guild. Still messy. Still early. But way more me.

So v0.3 started as a patch. And now it's a full Bastion-inspired rework. Special facilities. Recruitable classes. Progress that actually makes narrative sense. 
Scope? Creeped. Sanity? TBD.

What changed? I discovered Bastions in the 2024 D&D books while starting a new campaign. Build a stronghold. Recruit adventurers. Manage your downtime. It clicked (pun intended). That’s what Idle Guild should’ve been from the start.

I published my first game ever (Idle Guild) on the Play Store a few months ago. One giant script. 3000+ lines. Pure chaos. I’ve learned a lot since then, which made looking at that old code... physically painful. So I threw it out. All of it.
