I think Britain and the EUs point is that it isn't too strong a bond to be broken...and America has broken it.

It's consistent with refusing to make a cake for a gay wedding or refusing to fill a birth control prescription as a pharmacist. Not.

All that research you can't do because it would be unethical to refuse health care to someone, done for us by Texas.

But, Somalis.... Tim Walz.....the fraud must be stopped (when performed by brown people and when it's politically advantageous for the GOP to make hay...otherwise, it's cool )

Yep. It would also shut down the "I already paid more than I borrowed" from people who have college degrees, but apparently missed the compound interest math unit in middle school and don't know how money works.

Christians should always remember that Christian on Christian discrimination and war over Catholic v. Protestant and Lutheran v Anabapist and Anglican v. Puritan etc etc is a consistent feature of Christian history. They might start with Muslims.

Implement a tax in personal loans not used to buy a primary residence in excess of $250,000 per year. Loans over that should be treated as income. Implement a small tax in every single trade off a share of stock.

Do people THINK? Publishers are (mostly) for profit enterprises. They buy what they think will sell. Even IF white men were being pushed from publishing (spoiler, not), it means they books don't sell because for profit publishing is not subsidizing DEI social change.

Choose the bear. It's possible the man is decent. It's just as possible the bear isn't interested and at least the bear won't blame you for your own victimization.

You forgot using energy from a grid that is already strained and antique, and will take a decade to build out.

you are asking the wrong question. It isn't how many people think Trump knew about the crimes, it's how many people think Trump was complicit in Epstein's death.

It's "free" to send a text or email. What politicians need to realize is that it costs you in creating both noise and ill will.

In what universe does someone who thinks he or his staff need to threaten the ICC to avoid prosecution think he should get a Nobel Peace Prize?

As many as 120,000 of those early "settlers" in what became the U.S. were transported convicts.

The simple reality of "evil or incompetent.". Once you get past understandable and hopefully rare errors that come with being human, you are left with the choice of incompetence or bad actor.

Single election cycle? It took 42 years from a suffrage proposal being made to the 19th amendment being passed. And that happened 30 years after Seneca Falls. 42 years between Baker v. Nelson and Windsor.

Likewise, if you are Progressive and don't make room for those more centrist than you, you have the same problem. A big tent means there aren't a lot of litmus tests. A few (the -isms for example) but not many.
