Ohhhhh. The AI named for the right hand seat on an aircraft? 😅

Yeah, that kind of dick move is basically their entire brand

Nine times out of ten this is nothing more than debris (e.g. pebbles, coins) in the door track, and the one other time it's the door motor or belt being pulled out of alignment when folk try to force the doors.

When the state at large refuses to engage the rule of law, then there is a constitutional argument that citizens do not have to either.

"historic bloodline?" Slow down there Herr Hess, everyone of European heritage, including most white Americans, and likely you, are mutts

There's a migrant in YOUR "bloodline" somewhere, dumbass

While KESMA exists, going to Hungary to talk about free speech is like going to the USA to talk about gun controls...

the fact they have pricing tiers for something you can do in 3 lines of code is sending me

Sunny but very unsettled here in southern Scotland. We'll have a couple of hours of blue skies and then suddenly thunderstorms. Been like this a few days.

Then there's another section of the same app that is designed to work offline, but won't actually start unless it has an internet connection, and often needs to work in an underground or very rural setting where mobile data may not be accessible.

Or, if you're my works time sheeting app, it's "make the employee wait 3 working days for an answer when booking PTO and have a manager call the employee to tell them they need to do it again because they entered it wrong"

UX is definitely their passion.

I'd also take a quick peek at 3Blue1Brown's (visual) linear algebra course so you at least know how to transform a matrix; or if that's too much, at least watch their video on convolution.
Using VisualShaders
VisualShaders are the visual alternative for creating shaders. As shaders are inherently linked to visuals, the graph-based approach with previews of textures, materials, etc. offers a lot of addit...

By that logic Westboro represents all Christians and the KKK represents all Americans. Got it.

my project uses some (fairly strong) Bayer 2x2 dithering + AO/GI + strategic placement of lights and it looks quite nice.

More effort seems to go into down-sampling and making the final output crunchy than actually generating geometry 😂

Apologies for the word salad. They had FROM my bank...

Last time I got snagged by Prime's questionable billing, they had my bank a Section 75 legally binding chargeback by the end of the day. (They also generally get charged by their bank for that too...)

Haven't used them since.

I'm using Vorbis and C#, but right enough that same method exists in AudioStreamOggVorbis... and AudioStreamPlayer::Set("parameters/looping", shouldLoop); seems to work.

Well that just made my code a hell of a lot simpler, cheers for your assistance!
May 22, 2025 at 7:35 AM
I can't seem to find a corresponding API method in the docs, though, for AudioStreamPlayer{,2D,3D}

Thing is, the fact this option exists in the editor implies it *must actually exist somewhere*.

I'm using C# and Intellisense isn't being much help either. Am I missing something here?

an AudioStream resource has a loop flag set on import but you can't adjust it at runtime, from what I can gather

absolutely not a problem if you want to *either* loop or one shot, but if you want to do both in the same track, time to get out the duct tape
May 21, 2025 at 8:37 AM
Me: Hmmm, I would like to make a backing track loop some parts but play other parts only once.

Godot: here's an AudioStreamPlayer figure the rest out yourself 🖕

Me: is there a .loop property?

Godot: no 🙂‍↔️

Discord's a surprisingly useful tool for mood boarding/brainstorming even before you get a community involved. Ours has one section for mood boarding and comms that's dev team only, and a "public facing" section (that we will open up once a public demo is out).

Because it make THE LINE go down slightly sometimes and my boss's boss won't get his eighth yacht. Totally unacceptable.

But they aren't even wrong.

Urological cancers are, by and large, very manageable, as long as you have good medical care.

I've had two, I'm still here, and I'm just some nerd from Scotland with state healthcare. The 46th President of the United States definitely has better.
