At what point are we going to realize we can’t keep on like this. The pollution is a problem. These appliances are not recyclable. Nothing is made well. Most of the clothing is junk. I’m not happy with most of the things I buy anymore anyways including things I need like sneakers or hats & gloves.

The planned obsolescence is off the charts with appliances. My washer & dryer are old. The dryer is on the fritz. I dread buying new ones. They don’t last and are not fixable.
My first house came with a washer. It was 47 years old when it rusted through the drum. Now it’s lucky if they last 8 years.

Same. Although I was younger. Probably fourteen. Read the whole series and two others by VC Andrews before I had enough of the creepy constant theme of incest. My uncle would drop off boxes of books he got free from work. They contained every genre. I read them all.
