Now, restoring the access now, after Adams got his charges dropped and after it became public knowledge that ICE is deporting people illegally, unconstitutionally, and under inhumane conditions.
For years, ICE agents worked on Rikers Island in New York City and led the expulsion of thousands of undocumented immigrants, including many who were never convicted or had only minor violations. After sanctuary laws barred the agency in 2014, Mayor Eric Adams is now restoring its access.

The financial consequences have already surpassed my estimated threshold in a cost/benefit analysis. My conclusion, Trump is more afraid of Putin than he is of losing money or anything else, and Musk is now irreversibly entangled for some other mysterious reasons.
