This is the closest analog I think we have at the moment honestly. I wonder what will happen first, a new trainer using Silvally or a new trainer using Hydrapple. Metagross I think was a similar deal too but so many have used it since.

I was thinking about that too but I associate them more with the player character just cuz Sada and Turo technically aren’t in the picture. Cuz technically Null was Aether’s, and Macro Cosmos has one, it’s just that we only ever see Gladion actually using one.

People who swear by AI act like it’s been around forever like somehow all of human art to this point was impossible and completely inaccessible. Learning and creating are obstacles to these people and they completely miss the point of the process being the fun part…. Or like… the humanity…

Though i imagine these playthroughs and teams as one story, and so to me this feels like one 12 pokemon team, not two separate parties. Lots of these guys have been traded back and forth and been teammates across versions throughout the game.

Also the distinction that Z megas are like. They’re own thing. I’m expecting a whole batch of new megas for guys that already have them now. And if that’s the case these DEFINITELY don’t take away from some other mega. This is like. It’s own thing I feel like.
